Well.. maybe not infinite. But slightly above average. And I'm always seeking more, so I'm hoping everybody will chip in with something I might not know about!

I'll start out with my ultimate favorite band and the best live band I've ever seen. Perfect mix of Japanese madness and greatness. BOREDOMS! They've changed quite a lot of the years, from a no-wave band to something more like tribal krautrock noise.

Eye, the frontman, is the Japanese Mike Patton. Just so much more awesome.

Sadly, there don't exist many good videos of them.

My favorite song is this one:

And Vision Creation Newsun is the best album ever made.

And I'm going straight to another of my faves. MELT goddamn BANANA!

I saw them last year. Was blown away. The energy is insane.

The bassist is hot. Yasuko just scares the hell of me.

There's also a lady drummer in Boredoms. I remember one dude licked her feet when I saw them. He got thrown out, obviously...

She also play in the band OOIOO, who are quite decent, though I haven't really checked them out enough.

And on a totally different note; The Pillows! One of my newer likes. I heard them the first time way back in 2004 or something, but I only recently realised how much they rock.

They did the soundtrack to the amazing 6-episode anime FLCL. I usually have this song as my alarm clock, really really high up. It's impossible not to wake up and go straight to air-guitar mode.

I admit I was expecting far worse... After what you posted last weekend, Jonas, those videos are pretty... ah... normal. ;)

More ammo for on stage instrument smashing, maybe?

I guess so.

Personally I would never smash a guitar, I love 'em to much to do so

You can always cut some of the strings instead... but that's far less impressive than smashing your guitar on stage.

Don't worry. I'm starting out easy. And smashing guitars are cool. The Sevena (the guitar-thingy with lots of guitars) is used to great effect. He just hits it with his Bo-stick or drum-sticks.

I found a live video of Babymetal. Be prepared.

I gave Boris a try some time ago, some songs were decent, but most of the time, I could only hear crazyness and noisy tunes, but somehow I could understand why you like them Jonas

And you nailed it, Boris is great.

Jhon, it does depend on the song, they differ very much.

I had to add this. It's JåånaZ who posted it but it was deleted. This belongs here, for obvious reasons. It's mad and great and Japanese.

By the way, how the hell do you post a video as a video, not an URL?

Probably the entire albums Pink and Akuma No Uta. Kare Hateta Saki from the album Smile is great too.

Look closely at the dude to the farthest right in the New York video at 4:20 (and 10 seconds forward).
